Par-tea for Three!

I love birthdays! Hold on. I don’t think you’re reading that with enough enthusiam. I really, REALLY looooove birthdays! One special day to show someone just how perfect they are and how thankful you are they were born? Sign me up.

That being said, I was clearly excited for this tea party. When it came to Brooklyn turning three, I knew I wanted to do something special for her for multiple reasons:

  1. Three is the official age where I feel like they actually know what the heck is going on.
  2. She finally has friends! Granted they’re all older girls from around the block, but they smother her with love and attention, and what three year old doesn’t live for that?
  3. We didn’t throw her a party when she was two, and boy, is mom guilt strong.

We had a day filled with fun, flowers, dress up, desserts, and absolutely, positively no tea. Hey, can’t win ’em all. When looking up menus for a tea party, the recipes can use some pretty extravagent ingredients, however, we settled for simple peanut butter & jelly and turkey & cheese sandwiches, lemonade, sparkling cider, and lots & lots of desserts. To complete the party, we set up a fun dress up corner with jewelry and boas galore, and of course a mirror to check out their upgraded outfits.

It really was such a great time, including pretty adorable watching them lift their pinkies up when sipping their paper tea cups.

If you’re looking for tips on how to create a balloon cascade, I’ve linked a separate blog HERE!

All other vendors and links will be included after all the pretty pictures. Enjoy!

Our dress up corner filled with boas and old costume jewelry!
