The One With The First Blog Post

Hi! Well, this is it– the beginning of my very own blog! To be completely honest, I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but put it off because I was terrified of the eyerolls. Ugh, another mom blog. Thankfully, I have the most supportive friends & husband encouraging me to do this, so thank you for giving me a chance and visiting my site!

If you followed me on instagram before this, you’ll probably notice capturing cute moments of the kids paired up with a witty caption is kind of my forte, but there’s just a tad more to me… so, here we go.

The two cute faces of this blog? Those would be my kids, Benjamin & Brooklyn– one’s not biological, but it’s hard for me to remember which. Just kidding. I suppose now is the time to say that Benjamin is my stepson. I used to think that was such a dirty word, that it didn’t do justice to my love and dedication to him, or even worse that I didn’t see him as a full son, but the term has definitely grown on me. It brings me so much joy that even though I wasn’t a part of bringing him into this world, I’m still a part of raising him, loving him, and filling up his milk cup 19x a day. And as for Brooklyn? Well, I made her, but she’s 100% her perfect dad. I might as well just have been an oven. From those full set of lips to her full little heart, she radiates my husband inside and out. And as for me, well, I dabble in and out of so many things. Trier of all, master of none. Throughout this blog, I hope to show you some of my life incorporated with tips on motherhood, recipes, events, and well, life in general (and the best part about being master of none is that I’m sure I’ll be able to tell you what not to do). So follow along, learn with me, laugh with me, and be ready for a ridiculous amount of FRIENDS references.
